For which dogs

The bed is made for small breeds, such as a bolonka, chihuahua, coton, bichon, havanese, maltese, shih tzu or yorkshire terrier. If you are unsure, measure your dog lying down, nose to base of the tail, and compare that with the sleeping surface of 43 by 32 cm.

The cushion

The cushions are firm and springy rather than soft and sagging. They stay firm even with heavier dogs and under constant pressure, and so support bones and joints. That is not just a matter of comfort: a cushion that sinks to the bottom under a dog's weight no longer gives support, and an older dog notices that first.

The fabric

The fabrics are hard-wearing, durable and lightfast. Lightfast means the colours stand up well to daylight, handy if the bed sits by a window. The cover is sturdily finished, robust and easy to look after.

Care

All the covers are removable and washable at 40 degrees, which keeps the bed hygienic. In between washes you can safely clean the fabric with a damp sponge and a little soapy water. Let the cover air dry before you put it back over the cushion.

Where it goes

In the living room, in a corner with a view of the door, because most dogs like to see who comes in. Not in a walkway and not right in front of a radiator.
