Terracotta or beige

The beige goes everywhere and stands out nowhere; the terracotta takes a side. On a green, blue or dark sofa the warm tone stands out and does its job. On a sofa that is already warm, it disappears. So take the colour of your seating as the starting point and not that of the wall, because a cushion lies on the furniture and not against it.

Woven in, not printed

In a jacquard weave the pattern is created during weaving, by alternating threads of different colours. The dachshund is therefore in the fabric itself and not in a print on top of it, and so cannot wear off or crack like a print.

Where it goes

On a sofa, in an armchair, on a bed. The size of forty by forty is compact; next to a larger cushion of forty-five it works better than alone on a wide seat.

Care

Follow the care label. For wool the general rule is: wool programme or hand wash, wool detergent, no fabric softener and not in the tumble dryer. Wool that goes in the tumble dryer felts and shrinks, and that cannot be undone. Dry flat on a towel and out of full sun.

The same cushion is also available in beige, and among the throws are the woollen throws with a dachshund motif.

Virgin wool springs back after load, where a short fibre stays flat. After an evening on the sofa you plump the cushion once and it is as before.

Terracotta is literally the colour of baked earth, a warm brick tone. It goes well with green, with ochre and with natural wood.
