Porcelain vase with red peppers, handmade

This porcelain vase is handmade and decorated with playful red peppers that bring colour and character to your interior straight away. The striking shape and the glossy finish make every vase a distinctive piece, with a wink to southern design. There are two sizes.

Dimensions

• Large: height 45 cm, width 34 cm
• Medium: height 32 cm, width 28 cm

With or without flowers

The vase can shine on its own, but you can also combine it with a fresh bouquet or with dried flowers. Because the peppers already give a lot of colour, a simple bouquet often works best: a few green branches, white flowers or a bunch of dried flowers in soft tones. A very full bouquet hides just what makes the vase special.

Which size

The medium, 32 cm high, fits on a dining table, a windowsill or an open cabinet. The large, 45 cm high and 34 cm wide, is a real eye-catcher on a sideboard, a cabinet top or a kitchen island, and needs a little more room around it.

Styling

The red of the peppers shows best against a white, cream or muted background. The vase suits a sunny, southern-inspired interior, but also gives a cheerful accent in a restrained kitchen or dining room. Preferably do not put it among many other bold colours, so the peppers get all the attention. As a gift for anyone who loves cooking and colour, it stands out too.

Handmade

Because every vase is made by hand, no two are exactly alike. Small differences in shape and finish come with that.

Care

Dust with a soft, dry cloth, and between the peppers with a soft small brush. Do not use scouring powder on the glossy finish. Lift the vase by the base and not by the peppers.
