Cabinet in recycled railway wood with two shelves

This cabinet is made of old railway wood, the wood of old railway tracks, and is more than a piece of furniture: it is a story. With its sturdy form of 1.60 m high, 90 cm long and 40 cm deep, it fits any interior that loves pure materials.

Material and finish

Railway wood has had a previous life, and you can see it. Every piece of wood has its own grain and traces of the past, so the cabinet radiates a lot of character. It is a tough cabinet for anyone who loves authenticity, craftsmanship and honest materials.

Dimensions

• Height: 160 cm
• Length: 90 cm
• Depth: 40 cm

What fits in it

Inside you find a practical layout with two shelves, ideal for storing things neatly and clearly. With a depth of 40 cm, there is room for linen, tableware, books, boxes or paperwork. Because the layout is simple, you decide for yourself how to use the space.

Where it stands

At 1.60 m high and 90 cm long, the cabinet takes up little wall and still stores a lot. That makes it suitable for a living room, a hall, a bedroom or a home office. In an interior with a lot of smooth, sleek surfaces, the old wood brings just the contrast that makes a space warm.

Combining

Railway wood combines well with other pure materials: linen, leather, black metal, ceramics and green plants. Put a lamp with a linen shade on it or a large vase with dried flowers, and the cabinet becomes an eye-catcher at once.

Care

Dust with a dry cloth and avoid standing moisture on the top. Old wood generally goes on working a little with the seasons; feel free to ask Camille which care product she recommends.
