Materials

What makes this lamp extra special is the combination of materials. The shade is of beige cotton thread, and the sturdy metal elements are finished with a refined wood print. That makes the lamp look robust and natural at once, and warmer than a version in bare metal.

Soft, diffuse light

The light passes through the cotton thread and is therefore spread softly instead of sharply aimed. The lamp becomes a light object itself, and the room looks calmer because the difference between the pool of light and the rest is smaller. If you also want to read or work above the table, it is best to add a directed light source, such as a floor lamp in the corner. A lamp with warm white light suits the beige cotton best.

Where it hangs

Above a dining table or in the seating area. Above a table you usually hang the underside of the shade at about 75 to 85 cm above the top: high enough to look at each other, low enough to define the table. In a seating area it can hang higher.

Styling

The beige cotton and the wood print suit a country, Scandinavian or contemporary interior. Combine with a wooden table, linen fabrics and some greenery for a calm and warm whole.

Care

Dust the shade with a soft brush, in the direction of the thread, and keep the cotton thread dry. If you are unsure when hanging it, have the connection done by a professional.
