Teak shelving unit with vertical slat structure, 190 cm high

This shelving unit in teak is an open cabinet 190 cm high, 88 cm wide and 35 cm deep. It has plenty of room for books, home accessories or tableware, and is a real eye-catcher in your interior.

Material and finish

The shelving unit is made of teak. The warm wood gives a natural and timeless look. The vertical slat structure gives the piece an airy and modern look: you see through it, so the cabinet does not close off the space, even though it is almost two metres high.

Dimensions

• Height: 190 cm
• Width: 88 cm
• Depth: 35 cm

What fits in it

With a depth of 35 cm, you have room for books, stacks of plates, dishes, baskets and home accessories of a decent size. Thanks to the height, you have several levels: keep what you use daily at eye level and what you need less at the top.

Where it stands

The shelving unit fits in the living room as a bookcase, in the kitchen for tableware and storage jars, or in an office for files and books. Thanks to the open slat structure, it can also stand freely in the space as a light divider between two zones, without the room feeling smaller.

Combining

An open cabinet shows what is in it, so what you put on it becomes part of your interior. Feel free to leave a few shelves half empty and group objects by colour or material. Teak combines nicely with ceramics, linen, reed and green plants.

Care

Dust the slats regularly with a dry cloth or a feather duster. Teak is generally treated with a suitable wood oil to keep the warm shade; feel free to ask Camille what she recommends. With a tall open cabinet it is sensible to fix it to the wall, especially in a home with children. Use fixing material that suits your wall.
